MICHAEL BALLENTINE PT, DPT
Overcoming personal obstacles taught me the value of highly skilled and compassionate professionals. We all need a little help along the way. I have a sense of mission to walk with others in search of living, moving, and performing their best, without pain, avoidable limitations, or recurrent injuries.
Physical autonomy, and true wellness require a 'health first' strategy. We must strive to better address how we eat, think, sleep, breathe, and move. The work I do and love enables me to share my passion for movement as an integral part of 'deep wellness.'
My career began serving the Broadway dancer community in Manhattan. I have worked in the Los Angeles area since 2012 in outpatient orthopedics. I persistently search for the highest standards and most effective approaches. My goal is to direct education, manual, and movement therapy skills at the movement problems and compensations that drive symptoms, pain, diminished function, and performance. Movement fluency and efficiency have prerequisites -- attention, body awareness, correct breathing and stabilization. The fundamentals are the secrets that hide in plain sight. Their emphasis is the true key to enhancing movement quality, healing injury, optimizing function, and improving performance.
